How a listing gets here

Every listing traces to a page or a post, and the source is shown on the row along with the date it was checked. Nothing is listed on a guess. Where a night is advertised only as "monthly socials" with no published dates, it appears in the directory but never gets placed on a date — a fabricated date is worse than a missing one.

Two kinds of evidence are shown, and they aren't the same thing. Verified means a person read the organizer's own page. Last confirmed means the night turned up in a listings feed. A night vanishing from a feed is never treated as a cancellation — the feeds in this scene are incomplete by construction.

What's in scope

Social partner dancing: nights where someone arriving alone could find people to dance with. Classes and workshops are tracked but hidden from the default view. Performance and competition are out, and so is ecstatic dance, which is solo rather than partner.

Geographically, Seattle is the default. 11 venues on the Eastside and to the north are listed behind a toggle, because Seattle dancers really do drive to them. Tacoma, Everett, Olympia, and Bellingham are recorded but not shown.

Where it stands

71 venues (46 in Seattle, 11 in the surrounding ring) and 33 organizers are on file, built by working the scene's own directories rather than by copying an aggregator. The weekly schedule on top of them is being verified night by night.
